WHAT TRAINING INCLUDES
Curious about karate? A Shinkyokushin class builds strength, focus, and character — not just punches and kicks. Here is what a typical session covers.
01
WARM-UP & CONDITIONING
Running, stretching, push-ups, squats, and core work to prepare the body and build endurance.
02
KIHON — BASICS
Punches, blocks, chops, kicks, and stances practised with focus and correct form.
03
IDO GEIKO
Moving combinations across the floor — linking techniques while staying balanced and sharp.
04
KATA
Traditional forms that teach sequence, timing, and spirit as you progress through the ranks.
05
PARTNER WORK & KUMITE
Controlled drills and sparring when you are ready — respect and safety first.
06
DOJO ETIQUETTE & SPIRIT
Bowing, respect for seniors, and the Dojo Kun — the character side of Kyokushin.
